I just love a good candid. A photo of a little one with pure joy across their face as they've made running from the camera into a game. This is a great way to describe the type of shots I am to capture. Or siblings laughing hysterically as they race back and forth between the camera and their parents. Do not worry if you little one is struggling and not cooperating, as I urge families to not look directly at the camera for most of our session time. Do you know what a crying little one gets us? Lots of snuggle images of mom trying to console her baby. The love shines right through! I want to capture your family in your element, without worrying who is looking where. This approach takes the pressure off and helps everyone relax, which allows your loved one's personalities to shine! We will always aim to include the standard classic portrait of the whole family looking at the camera and smiling, but the most unforgettable moments captured are always taken in the mix of things; when the family forgets all about the camera!
